Engadget reported today, via respected Finnish tech magazine Prosessori, that the Nokia N9 will launch with a 1.2GHz Atom processor. Even better news is that it could be announced at Mobile World Congress next month in Barcelona. Anyone else getting excited?
Nokia N9 leaked prototype
Nokia does not appear to be in the MWC 2011 exhibitors list, but we learned they’ll have something similar to last year. In 2010, Nokia held their own event just a short walk away from the main conference. They announced the MeeGo partnership with Intel at the event. If this rumors pan out, the Nokia N9 would have Nokia’s fastest mobile processor to date. The Nokia N9 is also rumored to feature the MeeGo OS, 12 megapixel camera and QWERTY keyboard.
